Coordinator buy in US, Free Classifieds Ads

ResponsibilitiesThe certified coder to be knowledgeable in diagnostic and procedural coding. Will complete case file review to extract diagnosis and apply appropriate ICD-9/10 codes as applicable to case sample. In this role, files sets are received from an auditing agency for blind coding review. - Must have at least five years of experience coding hospital inpatient/outpatient and physician medical records.- Required Certifications: CCS, CPC, RHIT, RHIA- Solid understanding of Risk Adjustment/HCC coding- Ability to abstract and code diagnosis and documentation information- Knowledge of ICD-9/10 codes- Must be able to follow instructions, meet deadlines and work independently- Excellent written and verbal communication skills- Excellent computer skills, including the ability to effectively process and secure data- Must have prior experience coding both ICD-9 and ICD-10.- Previous experience with risk adjustment/HCC coding is preferred.The Ideal Candidate will Possess the Following Additional Education and Experience
High School Diploma with 0-2 years of experience.
May have additional training or education in area of specialization.
Works on assignments that are routine in nature, with responsibilities easily learned on the job.
Acquires job skills and learns applicable policies and procedures to complete routine tasks.
Able to read, understand & perform assignments within prescribed guidelines.
Communicates routine information in a clear and accurate way with internal & external contacts.
